Despite the challenges in rescuing aged elephants, we carefully navigate each step, ensuring a safe journey to freedom. The process is demanding, requiring meticulous care in every aspect, from relocation to addressing risks. Our commitment intensifies upon reaching their new home, involving rigorous efforts in nutrition-rich cooking and persistent care for age-related symptoms. SomBoon, much like many rescued elephants, was captured over 80 years ago, torn from the wild and family, trained to serve humanity for decades. As she weakens, we believe she deserves the freedom she was denied. With little time left, we aim to provide her with the love, happiness, and freedom she missed for eight decades.
